So Different, Yet the Same: Amy Sullivan and Wes Waugh

August 13-27

OPENING RECEPTION: SATURDAY AUGUST 13th 3pm to 6pm

Our final show of the summer season, on the surface seems to be too contrasting to be cohesive. The show will feature the brilliant colors and flowing nature of Wes Waugh’s watercolors in contrast with the neutral and enigmatic nature of Amy Sullivan’s giant barns.

Though these two artists have different styles and mediums, they are very similar in many ways. Both Wes and Amy’s painting processes stem from a place of intense creativity. Both are true artists at heart and love to think and manifest outside of the box. On the other side of the coin, they are both highly technical and well trained. They both have mastered their medium, which allows them to explore the process of creation in even more exciting ways. This is sure to be an exciting and electric show.

Join us at the gallery for an opening reception, Saturday August 13th from 3-6pm for complimentary libations and hor d’oeuvres.
