In 1994, Tim Miller envisioned bringing the finest art in the Southeast to Blowing Rock, thus Blowing Rock Frameworks & Gallery, LTD. was created. Starting out with established local artists, the gallery grew into a core of internationally recognized artists that has been growing each year. Setting the standard in the High Country for fine art, Blowing Rock Frameworks & Gallery, LTD. has assembled over twenty-five of the most accomplished artists in the Southeast. A stroll through the gallery is as pleasing to the first-time visitor as it is to our seasoned collectors.

We provide fine art for individual and corporate collectors. We also have art placement and hanging services. Art is our world, and we will help art be in your world as well. In the Summer months, we have art shows that last several weeks each. The reception is the social event of our art shows and allows the public to view the latest work by some of our most accomplished artists while meeting the creators themselves.

Besides being the leader in fine art, we have also become the leader in Western North Carolina in the art of custom picture framing. Finishing a work of art and displaying it properly only enhances the art itself; this is why framing is so important to the art. Under the direction of Tim Miller CPF (United States) and GCF (Europe), our knowledgeable staff of up-to-date techniques and trends in the art and design world will make any framing we do beautiful and complementary to the piece being framed.

Offering the finest to the simplest frames in Western North Carolina, our designers guide our customers through the process of choosing the correct materials for that particular frame job. We offer gold leafing (in-house ), frame restoration, European-style French matting, hand-wrapped liners and a variety of other specialty framing to satisfy everyone’s needs. Whether it’s a newspaper clipping, photo, canvas, print, or any other type of material for framing, you’ll be glad you chose us for decades after your piece is framed.
